Seriously. Oh man. I feel so inspired as of late. I've been working so hard on getting to know myself better and reaching out and making new friends. I've been talking to people more, and I've realized that maybe some new and unfamiliar people aren't so bad. Though, of course, I knew them before, but I didn't really know them, you know?

I'm going after my dreams, and I have been doing everything I can to get there. I used to just sit around hoping, and getting nowhere. To get where you want you have to try and really want it and be aggressive (in a good way) about it.

Sure, most of my very good friends are all gone due to college or living father away etc., but I guess it's making me stand on my own. I used to be very good at that since I really only had two friends in my life and now I have way more than two. I try my best to keep in touch with them, put aside time just for them. But, I'm also happy that they are doing what makes them happy, too!

In the end we're going to be together again, so it's okay.

thermoelectric's recent post only made me try harder, and it put a smile on my face. I alos look up to her quite a bit, so I'm happy she's finally feeling better about herself! She gave me a ton of confidence to give people a try, and be more outgoing and to not be afraid what I look like, so I'm glad she can do that now too.

In other news, I'm getting my psych results from my tests over the summer. I can finally start looking at new schools and I won't have to worry about WHS pretty soon!

I'm pretty damn happy. ♥

Today was really laid back and Izzy and I are going to hang out for the weekend or something. We went on a nature walk thing because its so nice out last block so...I'm tired now, and  a bit over heated.

Can't wait to get home since it's vacation. yay!

<small><lj-cut text="Corwin Russell">I've been looking around for a new school to attend, since Wellesley High School just has a stick up its ass about everything. It's so uptight and it's classes and students are so cookie-cutter perfect based. Any kids that have any sort of difficulty  or are different (mostly the artistic groups) will struggle more than they need to, to be successful in life.

This has just been driving me up the wall and I can't stand seeing the D's and F's on my report cards. I've taken comprehension tests all the time, and the teachers tell me that I'm so smart that I should have skipped a few grades, except that fact that I haven't been able to. They all assume that I'm lazy, and I know I am to a large extent, but I've been able to apply myself when I need to. I've been doing so and I just can't get my grades up-- and my friends and family and teachers have kept telling me about how the way subjects are taught at WHS isn't right for my individual learning style.

However, I have found a new school, with the help of my mother and a great deal of help and support from Angie. She actually goes to the school that I'm going to most likely end up in: Corwin Russell. She says that the teachers are nice and they are one of the more creative schools in the state. That's a plus for myself and preferred learning style.

I visited Broccoli Hall (Corwin Russell) yesterday and it was like my version of heaven. I can't wait to start going there next year. It's rather small, so it'll be like a large family.

On another note, Angie and I are probably going to be having an artist alley table at AnimeBoston 2009. Yeah, we're planning ridiculously in advance. We're both rather anal about our art, and we have to work together on some pieces. We'll need to fill up some portfolios and make some money. I've improved quite a bit, and I'm still striving for my form of perfection, as every other artist is. I really need to update more, but I'm not making any promises like I usually do, since I usually don't keep them very well.

Sora is coming over for the weekend so I really should get to work on homework and art so that she'll have stuff to look at when she actually gets to my house. I also feel like my digital art sub is staring at me from behind, so... over and out~

On another note, Orly came over to my house for the day, and it was full of all sorts of Badtouch moments. xD

We got around 5000 grade after hunting for a good 2 or 3 hours. After she left, I gained about 2000 more, and I bought out most of the Grade Shop for Tales of the Abyss. This file is really sexy. 8D

Actually, it didn't really. Until I got to german, and Frau Wicht sprung the end of the unit das Römerzimmer test on us. Which sucked because I fell asleep early last night. I was going to study, but whatever. I'll fail, but that'll be the only bad grade in the class so far, so it might not do too much damage. Besides, I can make it up by doing even better with the Lola Rennt unit.

I should email one of the Deutsch 5 students, and see if they can tutor me during my free blocks. I've developed a stronger interest in learning french, chinese and finish, in addition to japanese, malay and german. this seems bad, since that's a lot of memorization. XD

Currently, I'm should be doing homework before my primary distractions sign online. Buuuuut, I don't feel like doing that right now. I feel like doing art stuff, which I suppose is good. I was out of it for a while, and maybe I'll finally be able to get over myself in regards to posting not perfect/done/good pictures for people to see. After all, that's what'll happen in college.

I also miss Sora and Izzy a great deal >\

Though, Sora's visiting this weekend, so that makes it a lot better. Annnnnd we get to go see some Egyptian documentary at the Museum of Science. On it's own, it seems like the boring stuff Sora and I already do, but, Christopher Lee is narrating it. Pff, that'll make it even more epic. Izzy, you should come along at some point. If you can make it of course. You should :>

This January, I'll be taking comic booking classes and figure/conceptual drawing at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. :D I can't wait, even though I don't want to get out of bed early on a Saturday/Sunday. Perhaps I'll run into usagi_alchemist and her brother there. We'll be able to geek out amazingly. xD

...What a happy icon to be using, but I guess I need it right now.

madeofwin is going through such a tough situation, and I haven't known her that long, but, I just want to help her out. All I can give her right now is support, and I know that's not enough at all...but it's all I can do right now. She's such a nice person and she doesn't need anything like this to happen to her. I also won't say anything about her situation, since I don't know everything...and it's inconsiderate to say anything about it, she might not want me to.

And speaking of tough situations, I haven't heard from Leonie in two weeks at the least. I wonder what's happened to her. Last time I talked to her, she seemed so happy...but with a man like Markus hanging over her like a dramatic black rain cloud...Something horrible could have happened; Leonie doesn't always let people know what's going on with her-- she's so fearful. She says that's all she knows, so, a dramatic change could be worse than staying.

I also miss sakurabatou terribly. She's been in New Orleans for the past week-- I haven't seen her all summer. I can't wait until she comes home later today.

Sora also stayed over last night. And the night before. She practically lives with me now. She makes it impossible to sleep though XDDD

Oh well.

I'm in a really artsy mood, but what's different. Lol my wrist fails at life.

Pff, and I also wonder how Sora's Lesbian Naga character went over in her acting class.

I took a nap earlier, and if Sora doesn't come home soon, I'm going to go take another one. Why does only the fourth floor of our house have AC? No one goes up there...ever.
